I have been wanting to write this particular blog post article for a long time. Every time I see a woman whose life has been ruined by the man she chose to be with, I wanted to write about this so that other women do not make this same mistake.
I ask myself, how could she have been so fucking stupid, what the hell was she thinking? What it comes down to, is that All women make the same mistake in assessing their boyfriend’s earning potential. They overlook or are oblivious to his largest faults.
As I wrote in my previous blog post article yesterday, young women in high school or just out of high school do not have enough real-world experience to be a good judge of who to have children with. Young women, and even older women, are attracted to young men with a great deal of energy, enthusiasm, and confidence, in spite of the fact that he is an idiot.
I explained yesterday that in the states of UT, ID, MT, ND, SD, and WY energetic, enthusiastic, confident young men can get a job performing farm labor, construction labor, or oil field labor for roughly $15 per hour during the Spring, Summer, and Fall months. With overtime, this $3,000 per month that these young men can earn is enough to pay for an apartment and the bills for a young couple just out of high school.
Young women make the mistake of thinking that it is O.K. to go ahead and get pregnant because they are making enough money to pay all of their bills. These young women do not realize that when the economy begins a downturn, the construction boom is over, or the oil boom is over, these $15 per hour unskilled-labor jobs will be the first to disappear.
These young women are unprepared for this. Not only did they expect their boyfriend to keep his job, they expected him to eventually get a raise, become a foreman, then become a superintendent. In fact, they kind of planned on this, that’s why they went ahead and got pregnant.
The truth is, that even if the the economy had not gone bad, the construction boom had not ended, or the oil boom had not ended, their boyfriend would not have kept his job, been promoted to foreman, or become a superintendent.
Only about 20% of workers will ever become a foreman, that’s 20 out of 100 workers. You take those 20 workers who made it to foreman, and about 5 of those will ever be a superintendent. That means that only 5% of workers will ever become a superintendent.
It should be understood without having to explain it, that only the most intelligent, competent, reliable, and responsible workers will be promoted to foremen. What these young women had failed to consider, the fact that their boyfriend runs around like a hyper-active attention-deficit-disorder hunting dog that has just been let out of its cage, this is not what employers are looking for in a foreman.
This ADHD behavior will actually cause their young boyfriend to top out at $15-$17 per hour within a couple of years, and then it will be all down hill from there, because no one will want him around anymore.
For ease of explanation, I want to elaborate by using a young ADHD idiot named “Tyler”.
Young Tyler, with a great deal of energy, enthusiasm, and confidence, he is good at carrying things in the middle of a construction site where he can’t do much damage. He is good at digging trenches all day. He is good at running a compactor all day. He is good at carrying and placing concrete forms.
As time goes by, Tyler’s employer might give him the chance to load the truck in the morning, hook up the trailer, drive the truck and trailer, to see if Tyler can handle that by himself. Did Tyler load all of the equipment, materials, tools, fuel, and water that they would need that day?
Within six months or a year, Tyler’s employer might see if he can start work in the morning on his own. Did Tyler know what they are supposed to do, can he read the job site plans, can he correctly measure and lay out the work, can he perform the work on his own?
If Tyler, though he is energetic, enthusiastic, and confident, if he arrives at the job site without the equipment, material, tools, fuel, water that he needs, damages the truck or trailer, ruins the work material, builds in the wrong location, can’t get started on his own, the employer makes the decision that all Tyler is good for is labor under direct supervision.
However, once Tyler has been given the chance to do things on his own after working for a year, and has failed, and been kept doing only supervised labor, he is now dissatisfied, resentful, or doesn’t understand, and now he becomes a problem. He sporadically tries to take control of tasks or jobs, and ends up leading others in the wrong direction, making mistakes, and ruining work.
The employer gave Tyler a chance to demonstrate his ability, he damaged equipment, ruined material, couldn’t read the site plans, built in the wrong place, so the employer just wants to use him as supervised labor. Meanwhile, as younger and newer workers are showing their capabilities, Tyler interferes with them in their job, because Tyler does not want these newer workers to surpass him.
At this point, someone like Tyler, who has been a laborer for several years, who has demonstrated that he can’t advance beyond direct supervised labor, because of a lack of intelligence, focus, or being unable to think things through, if he is now discontented being just a laborer, and constantly causes problems, makes mistakes, interferes with other workers, employers do not want someone like this around anymore.
The young high school girl, or even some older woman, thought that they could count on Tyler working in construction or the oil field and making at least $15-$17 per hour. However, once a young man has worked for several years, demonstrated that he can only work as direct supervised labor, and he thinks that he should be in a higher position, employers do not want this kind of person around at all, when they could just hire a younger person with more potential who does what they are told.

I want to take a part of your post, young women getting pregnant and write a bit about it.
This happens all over the world and it’s one of the dumbest moves a couple can make if they’re not ready for it. Some couples are and it goes fine, but quite a few are not.
They have the baby and then the mother hands the baby over to the nan or grandma and expects them to take care of the baby they gave birth to. Some women want to cgo clubbing like they’re 20 again, some just want more time with their boyfriends or girlfriends but the thing is; you can’t do that anymore. You and your boyfriend/girlfriend decided to have kids and now you must deal with the consiquences.
There’s also as you say, a money issue, if you don’t have enough money to raise a kid or can’t put some money aside each month in a savings account, then you shouldn’t have kids. If you’ve been raped and really don’t think you can handle a child, put them up for adoption, better that than all the stressing out you’ll do.
