In my previous blog post, I wrote about the Russian gymnast Elena Lev, who joined the Alegria Cirque du Soleil in 1994, when she was 13 years old.  The video of her performance, was the best, most difficult, and most perfect performance that I have ever seen, or will ever see.

I spent more that several hours reading about Elena, and her career.  It is just one of those things, the way that everything worked out, Alegria was created in 1994, by very gifted, talented, imaginative, and visionary artists, designers, choreographers, musicians, and performers.  Elena was in the perfect place for her, at just the right time.

Alegria was performed under a circus tent, just like a traditional circus, and it toured throughout the world, in more than 250 cities.  The performance is like an opera, ballet, and circus.  Its final show was in December of 2013.

Since reading about Elena, and Alegria, there are many people who say that they have never seen anything like this in their lifetime.  Here is a complete 1-1/2 hour video of Alegria.
