I wanted to write this blog to inform people from out of state, what it is like to live in Dickinson, North Dakota, to give them the truth, so that they are prepared if they choose to come, or perhaps they will choose not to come once they find out what it will be like. Secondly, people in Dickinson who have lived here for a short while can read my blog to get some information, and see that they are not alone in trying to figure out what is going on. Lastly, people who have lived in Dickinson for most of their lives can see what other people think of their town, and what other people experience in Dickinson.

There are a few fallacious statements throughout your blog, mainly hasty generalizations; however, the vast majority of what you have written here rings true enough to forgive a few frustrated exaggerations. I was born and raised here and I’ve never really fit in all that well. I can fake it somewhat, but it’s draining.
Dickinson is a college town with a modest number of people that hold degrees (earn is a term I use loosely given the state of our education system), but apparently in all those years of school nobody mentioned that isn’t the end. I attended one year of college level education toward a Computer Information Systems Degree through DeVry. I opted for a good mix of generals and focused courses such as logic and programming, C+, a math refresher, english, psychology and nutrition. I maintained a 4.0 GPA until the last half of my last semester, where I failed to turn in a project with which I wasn’t satisfied.
That may seem like a silly decision at first glance, a feeling of discontent was beginning to brew. In high school I wasn’t big on homework. I tested well most of the time and had a fairly average GPA with a dip here and a spike there. So what gives? Did I suddenly become more responsible, was I really this bright all along, or were the courses just a bit too easy? I lean toward the latter. I wasn’t about to continue paying in excess of 15k per year for a fancy piece of paper when I have access to equivalent or superior information for the cost of my internet connection. It is that moment that a term I had heard in class clicked, life long learning. I was then most definitely not continuing that sham. Outside of vocational and a handful of other knowledge-centric fields, virtually all those remaining are better suited to apprenticeships, or in house training geared toward the industries specific requirements. They have to do that anyway to some extent. It’s a gimmick we’ve been conditioned to accept, one that few people pause to critically analyze.
I mean no disrespect to people that hold degrees. I’m sure some percentage of those people did take education seriously, earned those degrees and continue the admirable search for greater knowledge and understanding to this day. I certainly haven’t stopped.
The reason I touched on that particular subject is to lend credence to what follows. The supposed educated among us here are none too bright, certainly there are exceptions. There is a pervasive taint of mediocrity in Dickinson, and the concept of accountability is all, but unknown. Businesses get away with shoddy work performed by trainees, improperly trained staff or staff that ought to be eliminated. Yet, they will charge a premium rate. As you have mentioned, they keep wages as low as they can. I’ve heard people around here refer to employees as an expense. Employees are not an expense, they are an investment. Raises are typically underwhelming, one size fits nobody, formulas. That’s another example of a lack of engagement by owners and managers. Evaluations tend to be the employee vs employer. Most of the time they have no idea about how well you perform or all the extra things you do, but they do have the time sheet that shows every time you punched in 3 minutes late. Oddly, the negatives are weighed twice as heavy as the positives, resulting in the middle of the road or lowest raise. My, I feel valued and that my efforts are paying off. 3 weeks later I accept a 1-2 dollar upgrade elsewhere.
I overheard a guy complaining about losing workers to another company for a measly dollar raise, as if the employee was somehow in the wrong. If they were proficient, give them the dollar. When they are only paying 12 to 15, 1 dollar is significant.
What good is an “education” that one does not draw from, maintain and build upon? Throughout my life I have been stricken with an unsettling realization as I observed those around me. Eventually I recognized the sensation through the recounting of another’s experience, I have nothing in common with these people. It’s not that I’m this unique special snowflake, I just have a perspective and system of beliefs that are drastically different and often opposed. It creates friction.
Somewhere amidst this I discovered a video titled, “The Price of the Lie” on Youtube by ThinkingApe (aka Stardusk). We live in a society that requires us to lie. Human beings need to be lied to. We lie to ourselves and to others and demand everyone’s participation. Despite how we feel, despite what we are surrounded with, we are expected to be positive to leave a positive impression on others. As if we are to fake it well enough and we avoid having to look at the failing economy, the cronyism in our city council, the decay of our society and education, the failure of feminism, the failing family unit and subsequent dilution of masculinity, the obfuscation of femininity, etc., it’ll all just work out somehow. No, it’ll implode. I didn’t get to this juncture by blaming others or externalizing my failures. I looked within and realized that I can’t change others, I can share information, give them the tools and teach them how they function, but they have to make the choice to use them, they have to change themselves. We should be aware of as many conditions that affect us as we can, but we should only focus on the aspects that we can influence. I can only affect change upon myself and my personal environment, therefore the best method to encourage change in others is to be the change you want to see and hope it reflects outward and proliferates. Therein lies an important observation, that is our only hope, yet virtually seals our fate, because millions of people aren’t going to suddenly wake up one day motivated, energized and, you know, not morally and intellectually disengaged.

That’s when it hits you, man who is not going his own way, and it will hit you eventually. See, we know that it’s all a big fucking lie, the rituals humans engage in. Human beings just can’t afford to be honest with each other. They’re afraid to offend, they’re afraid to exclude, they’re afraid of this of that and they all want to be part of it. Well, I don’t want to be part of it, because I recognized a long time ago that it compromised who I was and who I am and I refuse…”
People choose their feel good fakery over what actually is. See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil, then does evil cease? Of course not. Drastic times call for drastic measures, seizing the Town Hall and demanding new representation would be a good start. Private business and public office do not mix. It ought to be illegal, one or the other.

It is actually nice to see someone admit what I have been saying for years about people lying. That’s all what society is built on is who can lie more to cover up failings and deceive others. I can’t tell you that vast majority of people I come into contact simply do not have any morals or values and nobody is held accountable for anything they do anymore. Only are you punished when you decide to take a stand and do what is right and NOT follow the program. I won’t even begin on this one because I sincery could write a book on this.

Thank you for your compliment. I realized as soon as I started writing my blog, that I would have to write anonymously if I was going to be able to write what I thought about Dickinson. Some of what I wrote, I was venting my personal anger about Dickinson, but other things that I wrote, I wanted to help people, and I wanted to change things in Dickinson for the better.
I don’t want to let anyone know my name, so that people can’t easily harass and interfere with me. I don’t want people to try to harass my employer to pressure him into not letting me work, or harass clients/customers to pressure them into not letting me work. Inevitably, I will have written enough for people to figure out who I am, but I don’t want that to happen too soon because there are some more things that I want to write about, and I want to stay in Dickinson long enough to see that the mean, greedy, hostile people get what is coming to them.
I am sorry that I can’t give out my name. Feel free to comment about what you think, I don’t edit comments, so people can say what they think.

Well this blog certainly is something else. I moved to Dickinson in 2013, I am a female and have seen and experienced many things in Dickinson. In the peak of the boom yes many people were living in their cars and on the streets because Dickinson did not have the infrastructure to hold that many people. It took a few years but they have finally caught up. Housing prices were very inflated but have come down. I did noticed that many locals did have the mentality that every outsider was “oil field trash” and I had been called that myself from another female who was a local. Many locals did not like the influx of people and didn’t want to change much. Dickinson isn’t terrible, as a female in her late 20s I feel safe here, it has become my home, friends have turned into family, many many Dickinson people are very caring and friendly. You will find a bad egg in every community, it is how you choose to react to them.

Yes, I made friends in Dickinson too, some local people and some out of state people.
In the neighborhood where I lived in Dickinson for more than three years that was made up of long time local residents, I saw just about every neighbor needing help in some way, and every neighbor withhold help.
The oldest neighbors needing physical help, and hardly ever getting any help. So many neighbors having equipment and expertise in one area, the next neighbor having equipment and expertise in a different area, the next neighbor in a different area, and no one helping each other, or cooperating with each other, to the point that some of them literally almost die or get killed each year from not getting help when they need it. I have never seen anything like this. It is almost like greed, pride, and arrogance that makes them not want to help anyone, but when there is really nothing to be greedy about any more and they honestly need help, they still have this pride and arrogance where they won’t ask for help either.
I have seldom encountered friendliness in the local people. I have and do frequently encounter hatred, hostility, anger, envy, jealousy, greed, pride, arrogance, deceit, treachery, undermining, plotting, scheming, and slovenness.

The sum total of what you know about the constitution, police procedure, and citizen’s rights could fit in the anal pore of a paramecium. Payne and his watch commander should have been fired as of yesterday. I am retired law enforcement. They are a disgrace to every active officer in the United States.

Where have you been? Everywhere I have lived, there has been theft of firearms and drugs from police evidence, police selling items from evidence, law enforcement selling narcotics, law enforcement seriously injuring and killing people, law enforcement having sex with prostitutes in order to make an arrest or just taking advantage of prostitutes, law enforcement having sex with minors, law enforcement allowing informants to commit crimes and looking the other way so long as they inform on other people. I don’t even think that you have ever been in law enforcement, because apparently you have no idea what goes on in law enforcement. When law enforcement officers begin breaking the law, it is not applying the law of interfering with a police investigation, putting them in handcuffs, not hurting them, and putting them in a police car for twenty minutes.
A fifty year old police detective applies the law on interfering with a police investigation, and handcuffs a nurse and puts her in a police car for twenty minutes, and you act like this is a big deal? This is nothing, this is nothing in comparison to what goes on every day in the United States and the world. This is nothing in comparison to what an actual use of excessive force looks like, which results in a black eye, broken nose, bloodied lip, and bruising. This is so inconsequential, insignificant, and a non-event. If this is the worst thing that a police officer ever did in his career, he would be the most innocent and saintly police officer there ever was.
Every day in the United States police pull drivers over for speeding, not using a turn signal, license plate light out, and they could not care less, they are making a stop in order to discover something else to charge somebody with, interfering with their right to travel freely. The police know it, the drivers know it. There is a great deal of profiling people which is illegal, the police know it, the drivers know it. In any city or town, the police do what they do, and it doesn’t involve hourly discussions of the Constitution.
The police mostly have to deal with shit: disorderly drunks, drunk drivers, people out of their minds on drugs, assaults, stabbings, shootings, burglary, robbery, domestic violence. All the police want to do is handle the situation at hand as effectively as possible without themselves getting hurt, and without anybody else getting hurt. The police don’t show up and ponder the constitutionality of the situation, the legal merits, the latest court precedents, they just want to handle what they have in front of them. It is always the case, always, if someone is getting in their way and interfering with what they are doing, that person is likely to end up sitting in the back of a police car, everyone knows this, and this is the way it needs to be in order to keep people from interfering with police.
If the people who write these complaints about police officers, think that they are going to get constitutional lawyers and human rights activists to become law enforcement officers, this is not going to work. The constitutional lawyers, human rights activists, and people who write comments are good at criticizing police who put there lives and careers at risk every day by responding immediately and making decisions immediately. You can’t always stand back and take your time thinking about the situtation, delay action, do nothing, and try to have a long discussion about the constitution or people’s rights.

I, sir,originally come from the Boston, Mass. area – That’s New England, not the New England 30 miles south of Dickinson. I married a Dickinson daughter of a native businessman. She went to school through high school in Dickinson and then went to college in Montana and later her teaching degree in U of Washington. We still love each other although we are close to 80 years old
We try to visit Dickinson at least twice a year and we always have old school friends of my wife to dinner. I find the people of Dickinson just wonderful. We like the August weather and the Christmas through New Years weather.

How many nights have you slept in your car in a Wal-Mart parking lot, not a motorhome, but a car, in a parking lot, overnight? How many nights have you slept in a car in a Truck Stop parking lot, and paid $8 and waited a couple of hours for your chance to take a shower in a Truck Stop shower? When not on vacation, but when you are working or trying to work to support your family, how many times have you slept on the ground, in the bushes, beside the railroad tracks, beside a drainage ditch, or at the back of a Truck Stop parking lot? Thomas, you have never lived through or experienced what the out of state workers experienced in North Dakota.
If your pay after taxes were taken out was $3,000 per month, how could you afford to pay $2,000 per month for apartment rent, then pay for utilities, food, gas, car insurance, pay for clothes, and car repairs with only $1,000 left after rent was paid each month?
Why don’t you ask someone who is working age, who came to work in North Dakota between 2007 to 2015, what they experienced in North Dakota. Better yet, why don’t you come and live in Dickinson permanently?

It looks like you are referring me to a website link that I wanted to find, but could not. The “lawnflowers jerky and bigboots” website was created I believe by a university biologist, Department of Agriculture biologist, or Department of Game & Fish biologist. This was a very, very important website for Bigfoot researchers as it includes verified actual newspaper articles going back over 150 years with Bigfoot sightings reports. I don’t know why the author abandoned his website, it looks like he tried to make it kind of obscure in the first place.

Hello. I have been a Dickinson resident for most of my life. We are a 5 generation Dickinson family. I’ve read your blog for years, from the you wrote about the missing man who was buried alive on the contruction site. I find most of what you have written to be the truth, especially about the history of Dickinson and how the town has been run. I think you refer to it as the Dickinson Mafia. Another term I have heard over the years is “The Round Table”. I am astounded that a transplant could gather the information you have. To my knowledge you are the first person to actually have the nerve to put it in print. As I child I wasn’t aware of what went on because these powerful people were our peers. My father was a successful business man also, but treated his employees fairly and respectfully. it was only in my adult life that I learned and what has gone in this town. The wage setting, price fixing,(I acutally witnessed ) running industry out of town that could increase wages, or refusing to let businesses come into town. All thing that are supposed to be illegal. The public forum on our Super Walmart coming to town was on of the funniest broadcasts this town has ever had. What a dog and pony show. I’m so thankful for the Oil Industry, as that has taken some of the power away from the so called Dickinson Mafia. Before oil much of this town lived in an oppressed society.
The reason for my reaching out it to ask you to do some research and write about the one murder we had in 2018, in which the files just happened to be mislaid. I am speaking of the murder of Alma Pluth. The press published it as “The Stange Case of the Murder of Alma Pluth.”
Something is very wrong with what happened here. It ties in completely with what your last blogs have been about. The covering up of crimes, forgetting to report them, letting the guilty off, almost a fear of prosecuting.
My new motto is, “if you want to get away with murder, move to Dickinson ND” A city where someone can murder their mother and be charged with Reckless Endangerment. A charge on the level of stealing $500.00. A town where no one seems to care about a 90 year old lifelong Dickinson resident being murdered.

Thank you for your comments. Normally, most Dickinson residents want to tell me off, and tell me that if I don’t like it, that I should leave. I usually have two motivations about what I write and how I write it, I am usually angry about something, and I usually want to hit back at Dickinson and the people in Dickinson even worse than what I got from them. However, I do have some goals about changing Dickinson for the better, and part of the way to do it is to expose some of the bad things, again and again.
I had read somewhere about the elderly woman who died in a local nursing home, where the circumstances were suspicious, and no one followed up with the investigation. Without having looked this story up again, I vaguely remember that there was some evidence that a family member or nursing home staff may have hastened the death of an elderly woman, possibly so that a large inheritance could be received sooner rather than later. I will try to find out more about this.
(I did go and read a Dickinson Press newspaper article about the death of 91 year old Alma Pluth. A few days after her death, one of her children went to the Dickinson Police Department and gave reasons why Alma Pluth’s death was suspicious. The Dickinson Police conducted an investigation, and they determined that Alma Pluth’s daughter, Renee Klein, had turned down the setting on her mother’s oxygen machine at St. Luke’s nursing home, causing her death. The Dickinson Police referred this case with the evidence to the Prosecutor with the Stark County State Attorney’s office, who began the prosecution of Renee Klein for “aggravated assault and reckless endangerment”. It was up to the Prosecutor to decide the charge, and he did not think that he could ever win the prosecution on the charge of “murder” because an autopsy had not been done to prove the cause of death, the body was prepared for burial so quickly, that an autopsy was not or could not be performed.}
Right now in Dickinson, there is perhaps more crime than ever before. I have heard from a couple of people about many vehicle break-ins near the St. Alexius Hospital, fifteen to twenty car tires were cut Friday night east of 10th Ave East, vehicle tires were cut and vehicles were spray painted on the south side near Rosie’s gas station, thefts of property on my street and all over Dickinson.
Since there are only five Patrol Officers on duty at night, plus one Corporal and one Sergeant, the City probably needs to ask the Highway Patrol to come in from the counties and interstate, and patrol here in Dickinson instead. Also the City of Dickinson needs to formally and officially request that all residents be on the look out for these crimes, almost like a “state of emergency”, it would help to institute a night time curfew.

There was no reason an autopsy couldn’t have been done. They had the search warrants on the morning of the funeral. The burial was at the veterans cememtary in Mandan. The State Forensic examiner should have been brought in on this case. This women was not cremated. Autopsies can been done after embalming. If she would have been cremated it would be different. Why was an autopsy not ordered once they were granted the search warrants. Blood gases don’t register after death so an autopsy would have ruled out other possible causes of death.in order to strengthen the case for first degree murder. I feel that because this was a family member who committed this crime they didn’t know how to deal with it. So they cover it up. There was no large inheritance. I’ve known theses people my entire life. This women worked most of her life at DSU. Plus there are 3 or 4 other heirs.
I think that because she was 90 years old and in a Nursing Home her life didn’t matter. The same mentality many in this area have about animals. They had pictures of her entering the room, the reading of the oxegan machine showing it had been turned way down, DNA, medical records showing that there was no reason for this women’s sudden death.
I guess because the alleged murderer didn’t acutally put her hands around her throat and strangle her, it’s not murder here in Western North Dakota. Very sad and should be very alarming for all of us.

You have some good arguments for why an autopsy should have been done. I was thinking that oxygen levels could not be determined at the time of death once a body had been embalmed, but I did not think that an autopsy could rule out many other causes of death, which would make the case for lack of oxygen being the cause of death a possibility.
I don’t want to upset you even more, but I went to the North Dakota Court Repository website, where you can search court cases by county, last name, and first name, and her daughter Klein did not come up at all, no court case for her at all, which I think means that either she was never charged at all, or all of the charges were dropped, in order for there to be no court record whatsoever.

You are %100 correct. It is damnnnear impossible to even get a DUI out here. My buddy finally on his 3rd try got one to stick and then he was supposed to have his license revijed for 5 years if caught driving on a revoked license he did and managed somehow to escape that and jail time. More recently Erik Odegaard who was messing around with a girl under the age of 15 which my guess is she was a lot younger than 15. State is a piece of shit all the way around. Cops are fucked in the head as well. They mess with people that shouldn’t be messed with to get some sort of rise out of them. I have told many cops to get fucked in this city from everything from having a sticker on the wrong place on my license plate to getting thrown in the back of a squad car for getting kicked out of a resturaunt for telling a mouthy bartender she had a fucking attitude. That was enough for 3 squads to come screaming into the parking lot, handcuff me and throw me in the back of a cruiser before they found out I didn’t do a damn thing wrong. Let me get this straight. You believe “Eric” has been falsely accused no matter what has been said or charges brought. You defend him because you “know him”.
Someone is accused of somehow causing their mother’s death yet you all jump on the bandwagon to scream “guilty”?? Who did the accusing? What evidence is there? What if there was a false accusation with an ulterior motive as you claim so many people in town would love to ruin the lives of others? What if the only crime of the woman accused was that of happening to be there that day?

The Dickinson Press newspaper article reported the facts of the investigation that was conducted by the Dickinson Police Department. After the Dickinson Police Department had completed their investigation, they concluded that the death was a homicide, and turned the case over to the Prosecutor. The Prosecutor explained to the Dickinson Press at the time of their newspaper article, that the case would be prosecuted as “aggravated assault and reckless endagerment”.
Here is a quote from the Dickinson Press newspaper article:
“According to Capt. David Wilkie, Dickinson Police Department, the investigation into the matter uncovered details that led police to classify this matter as a murder, and a subsequent report was forwarded to the Stark County State Attorney’s Office. That report concluded that Klein, daughter of Pluth, had intentionally turned down the oxygen level on her mother’s oxygen machine, causing her mother’s oxygen levels to drop and resulting in her death.”

“A criminal complaint was issued in October 2018 establishing the facts and legal reasons the state attorney’s office believed were sufficient to support a claim against Klein.
A preliminary hearing in the case of the State of North Dakota vs. Renee Klein was held March 4 in the Southwest District Court before Judge Dann Greenwood.”

“Why was an autopsy not ordered once they were granted the search warrants. Blood gases don’t register after death so an autopsy would have ruled out other possible causes of death.in order to strengthen the case for first degree murder. I feel that because this was a family member who committed this crime they didn’t know how to deal with it. So they cover it up. There was no large inheritance. I’ve known theses people my entire life. This women worked most of her life at DSU. Plus there are 3 or 4 other heirs.
I think that because she was 90 years old and in a Nursing Home her life didn’t matter. The same mentality many in this area have about animals. They had pictures of her entering the room, the reading of the oxegan machine showing it had been turned way down, DNA, medical records showing that there was no reason for this women’s sudden death.
* I guess because the alleged murderer didn’t acutally put her hands around her throat and strangle her, it’s not murder here in Western North Dakota. Very sad and should be very alarming for all of us.*

Yes, I can presume innocence of a friend of mine when I have not seen or heard any evidence that he committed a crime. On the other hand, if the Dickinson Police investigate someone’s death, and they state that there is video camera evidence that someone caused this death, and they determine that the death was a homicide, turn the case over to the Prosecutor who wants to proceed with criminal charges and a trial, I have no problem reporting what the Dickinson Police and Prosecutor have stated on record. I can’t find any record of this court case beyond a preliminary hearing.
What was the Dickinson Press newspaper story that you told me to look for on August 31? I looked and did not find any news story out of the ordinary or related to this discussion.

yes, actually, due to the nature of due process and cases being different wholecloth you can presume differences in innocence between cases. This is what judges and juries do every single day. The girl in the odegaard case was under 15, so OP was wrong about that one, but o e person being guilty does not make a different person guilty. I have lived in Dickinson for almost nine years. It is a small town with about 25,000 people. I have been writing articles about Dickinson and the people in Dickinson for the past five years. Everyone here has seen and read my blog posts. The controversial blog post articles have been shared. The people who were interested in knowing, already know who I am.
The amount of people who have left a complaint about my blog post articles is less than 1%, it is 0.2%. Most people just don’t care.
In Dickinson, because it is an oil field town with a migratory and transient population, and because it is not even at the Blue-Collar level of people, it’s just like being in prison. So anything that you think can happen in prison, happens here. It is a normal everyday thing to be prepared to be stabbed, shot, have your property stolen, etc. The only thing that you are doing, is reminding me to expect what I already expect.

That’s funny. While seeking verification of your physical appearance I was in communication with one of the individuals (Jeremy) who assured me that he had no idea what you looked like because he had never met you and, as he put it, “I damn sure never worked with him. He’s probably never worked a day in his life.” And I pretty much concurred with that assessment. That good did come out of all this; I gained another acquaintance up here close to my second home. Not that I really wanted another but that’s alright, I’ll likely never come down long enough to meet him in person anyway. I wouldn’t miss what is happening and going to happen in Dickinson, for anything. I want a front-row seat to see everyone here get what is coming to them. This is a matter of people reaping what they have sown, chickens coming home to roost, and pride goeth before destruction.
Prior to the 1950s oil boom, and the 1970s oil boom in North Dakota, life in western North Dakota was very hard and difficult. Nothing to laugh about or make fun of. The people in western North Dakota had their character shaped by a hard life, a difficult life, scarcity of everything, being poor, no leisure or recreation, minimal formal education, brainwashing by the Catholic Church, and no travel outside of North Dakota. I understand that this is the origin of western North Dakotans having no hospitality and no friendliness. You probably don’t understand this, but it’s the truth.
There is oil underground in EVERY State in the U.S. The reason why there was an oil boom in North Dakota in 2007, was because North Dakota was one of the absolutely least populated, barren, and poor states. Land was the least expensive of anywhere in the U.S., and the western North Dakotans would not put up much of an environmental protest to oil drilling and hydraulic fracturing.
Western North Dakotans from 2007-2015, looked at this oil boom as something like a sign of North Dakotan supremecy or greatness, when in fact North Dakota was just being used by the oil companies, because North Dakota was poor, and the North Dakotans wouldn’t put up a resistance.
It is kind of tragically funny, that the state with the lowest education level of all states, an average education level of something like the 8th grade, the least educated and lowest traveled people in all of the U.S., with the most barren, vacant, inexpensive land, the western North Dakotans had this pride and arrogance because of the oil boom, most of them believing that it would go on forever.
The North Dakotans with their pride and arrogance, their low education level, their indoctrination by the Catholic Church that they were superior to other people, and their generations of being poor with no hospitality, this is what led North Dakotans to treat the out-of-state workers who came to North Dakota with hostility, unfriendliness, and usury, gouging them in every way possible.
With the doubling and then quadrupling of housing costs for out-of-state workers, the hostility and unfriendliness of the local people, the undermining and lack of cooperation by local people at work, the shortage of women, and the ugliness of the women here, made virtually all of the out-of-state workers make up their minds that they were never going to stay here permanently.
The desert states of Texas, Arizona, and Nevada grow and grow, with their populations doubling every ten years or so. The coldest, most remote state of Alaska sees its population grow. But the population of North Dakota DECREASES, because North Dakotans are so hostile, unfriendly, and uneducated.
I keep referring to western North Dakotans being uneducated, because this is a problem when you people can’t even see what it is that you are doing, you don’t even realize what you are doing.
For instance, it costs about $40,000 per year to incarcerate a person in prison in North Dakota, and $1,400 per year to put someone on probation. So North Dakota puts its repeat offender drug-addict, drug-dealing, thieves on probation again and again, because its “cheaper”. The truth is, that for every drug-addict, drug-dealing thief out on probation, they infect at least ten additional people every year with drug addiction or pregnancy.
Every $1,400 per year drug-addict, drug-dealer out on probation, creating 10 more drug-addicts, drug-dealers, and unwed single mothers relying on public assistance, who in turn each infect another 10 people. That one $1,400 per year drug-addict, drug-dealer out on probation, within a year or two just caused 100 infections, causing about $1 million in long-term damage, court costs, probation, imprisonment, and public welfare assistance!!!
Local North Dakotans in government thought that this drug problem would “burn itself out”, just manage it with probation and it will burn itself out. On the contrary, allowing drug-addicts and drug-dealers to run around loose has caused about 1/4 of the local population to be drug-addict, thief people. Local North Dakotans can’t see this or understand this.
One thing that might have made life more bearable for out-of-state workers, making them consider staying in North Dakota, was if good-looking, clean, $250 per hour prostitutes were available, such as EscortOfItaly.com. Instead local North Dakotans and the Catholic Church thought that they were going to force out-of-state workers to have sex with the local cankle-calf, ham-fisted, no-neck, jack-o-lantern, battle-axe women. Besides the extreme cold and seven month winter, the jack-o-lantern women was what made most of the out-of-state workers make up their mind to leave North Dakota.

True, the oil companies have been given free rein to be out of control by our state regulators only so the State can collect the measly taxes, while the Texans not only own the oil companies and reap the wealth but bring in their Texas workers to do the work for the most part. ALL the wealth is hauled back to Houston. This, agreed is a seriously monumental problem that NEEDS to be addressed soon. There was always a local group of us that worked the North Dakota oilfields from 1978 to 2005 and were treated status quo as per what we did. As things changed we were blatantly eliminated/discarded for reasons possibly implemented by our newly intelligent state regulators. Allowing this to continue is not very intelligent!! In fact it is stupidity. And then turn around and tout the ‘North Dakota SMART crap”. That is a serious complaint of ours!!! At this point we do not need outsiders here and yet they remain, there are plenty of area people to take care of the jobs available. We don’t need anymore “smart” Texans here, GO HOME TEXANS, don’t trip or get tangled up at the cattle guard-just keep moving back to where you came from or anywhere else. Tex also spends a lot of space complaining about how the drug/narcotic community in North Dakota is mistreated. You Tex are most likely are a drug criminal with all this wisdom and those complaints. Maybe that is why you say you will not leave, you are a drug felon and are not allowed to cross state lines.
Then Tex complains about how hostile North Dakotans are to outsiders and that is why the population doesn’t grow. Firstly when most of these outsiders arrived here they conducted themselves as if they had never been across the county line before. To them it was a free for all, riot, melee. Yes we live in a remote low populated area and intend to keep it that way. There is no spot here for hillbilly Texans.
To touch on Tex’s hate of the Catholic Church. It has been here since the beginning and yes the Germans, Ukrainians, Russians, etc. populate the parishes. What religion are you Tex? Are you a Baptist or some other mindless robotic Evangelical that is stupid enough to think that backing the Jew’s/Zionist’s evil will make you “chosen” and ensure entry into the promised land???
Before our final thoughts, just what were the Dickinson city leaders thinking when all these Blacks were allowed to infest the town? Were they looking for population growth no matter who came in? Did they think it would make Dickinson appear to be a progressive, modern looking town? It is obvious THEY have never experienced life beyond their county line other than a vacation or surfing the net. If so, they forgot to consider the big picture. Dickinson is where it is, Dickinson is what it is, Dickinson will continue to be what it has been. The only way to change it is to pay people to come here or set up a Siberia sort of prison to force people to come here. There is only so much that can be done with Dickinson. Dickinson City authorities must be keenly aware they are playing with fire in who they condone residency to. To “experiment” with this African bringing in thing WILL backfire. This whole scene is an embarrassment to locals and non locals alike. Almost all these blacks have a home somewhere where they came from. OK, now there have been black births in Dickinson. At that point these blacks are now natives of Dickinson. City leaders, do you realize just what you have now created in a small, poor place that is not capable of answering to or supporting the DEMANDS that will soon arise. Nice job Dickinson Dolts. That’s what happens when people are put in positions long before they are qualified to fill them. They govern on emotions and by what they absorb from television.
And finally no there is not oil laying in formation in every state Tex. You said every state has oil and North Dakota should not be so proud thinking they are unique. Again Tex you say a lot of off-the-wall things, we will give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you meant oil in Auto Zone or O’reily’s.
Overall Tex we stress that if you hate Dickinson as much as you convey. Move back to where you came from and take all the Texans/Southerners/Niggers with you. In fact why don’t you just go away period.
But in reality, with some of the things you say, we believe you are actually originally from the Dickinson area or very nearby. You just got in trouble and turned Texan on us.
As a note, Texans and Niggers come in all shapes, sizes, colors, etc. To be labeled a Texan/Nigger is not a compliment. It is a term that describes an undesirable quality, attitude and way of approaching non Texans. Texans are disliked everywhere, de facto HATED!!

I greatly appreciate your comment, because it is honest, truthful, and it expresses the true thoughts, feelings, beliefs, ideas, outlook, and principles of the local people in western North Dakota. You have the right to your opinion. Everyone should be able to express their opinion and beliefs.
If more local North Dakotans would have expressed their feelings, beliefs, ideas, and opinions like you have, as openly as you have, publicized them, local people in western North Dakota probably would have been better off, both in the short-term, and long-term. Out-of-state workers would have been better off too.
Dickinson and other western North Dakota towns should have issued a statement through the Chamber of Commerce and Newspapers as follows: “Attention out-of-state workers and newcomers. Western North Dakota is cold, barren, and undeveloped. It is cold here for seven months out of the year. Life here is hard and difficult, it always has been. There are not very many amenities, entertainment options, recreation options, restaurant, or shopping options. There are not many good-looking women available. North Dakotans like it this way, you probably will not. North Dakota is not going to change. North Dakotans do not like people from elsewhere. We do not like you, your ideas, values, beliefs, habits, customs, and behavior. We wish that you would not come here in the first place, and that you leave as soon as possible.”
If all the local towns, newspapers, television stations, radio stations, Chambers of Commerce, City Commissions, County Commissions, and schools would have published and read out loud the above statement regularly, the out-of-state workers and newcomers would have left this area much sooner. Instead, out-of-state workers and newcomers sensed unfriendliness, hostility, and lack of cooperation but didn’t understand exactly what was going on. It would have been better if the local people just came out and said it, like you did.
I want to make a correction to your comment, I didn’t say that I wanted to have sex with local women, God no! I think that you meant to write “disgusting” not “disguising” in your comment. It has come to the point that it is very clear that it is very detrimental for men to have anything to do with women. Men are capable of working and supporting themselves, at various economic levels, depending on what their talents, aptitudes, and goals are. Very often, men are able to earn enough money to where they could help support a woman and her children if they chose to do so. They might enjoy a woman’s company, and enjoy raising children.
However, for reasons such as stupidity, wickedness, laziness, greed, and being prone to evil, women have demonstrated that they can’t and won’t accept the help of men with appreciation, but instead they must pay him back with hatred, hostility, anger, false accusations, treachery, stealing his property, home, money, and belongings.
Why should men trust women or have anything to do with women? Because women repay men for every contact with them by false accusations, false claims, trying to steal everything they have, men should have nothing to do with women.
